Activities

Set in an ordinary residential street, The Limes affords all the opportunities of a community environment; access to a range of local amenities and leisure are all embedded into the daily lives of the students we support. Strong links within its community have been developed. We access local shops, pubs and restaurants building strong relationships with those working there. Local parks and walks are accessed on a daily basis.

Mercury College is on the doorstep, creating more opportunities to develop learning and leisure interests alike. The Limes has its own minibus to support community access, but wherever possible we also use public transport to promote travel skills and independence.

From our central location in South Yorkshire, we explore a wide range of places and activities including holidays at locations around the UK.

Accommodation

Sat in the heart of its community, The Limes comprises six modern properties furnished and decorated to the highest standards.

Our newly refurbished accommodation offers a range of options for both shared and single occupancy which is ideal for people who like or have a need to live on their own, as they are all spacious 1 bedroom properties. All bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms – people are encouraged to personalise their rooms and make them calm and enjoyable places to relax.

Each property has its own living room, dining room, kitchen and opens out to a private garden. All furnishings provide a warm, comfortable and homely feel.
